I was not impressed. I hated that the narrator was unreliable. Instead of thinking that it was a good twist when she admits that her "letter" to Tess has simply been her thoughts while she lies on the floor of the bathroom building, I found it annoying that Lupton tried to pull a "gotcha". I though...

WOW! It grabbed me and didn't let go. It is absolutely fabulous for a debut book.I love the style of writing and the conversational tone of the story in general. Ms. Lupton did a beautiful job of expressing Bee's emotions. At the same time, she kept me on the edge of my seat with what might happ...

Wow, I dealt with getting car sick just so I could keep reading this baby. Had to read the last pages over again because I couldn't believe the twist.

Almost 4.5 stars. I didn't want to put it down. Eerily creepy, even though I had the ending figured out long before.

I marvelled at the medical sub-plot woven into it. I got more irritated with the writing as I keep hea...

This was a very well-paced, well-written book that I couldn’t put down. I wanted to read as much as I could at a time in order to find out what really happened to Tess, and the mystery was very well done, with a good build up and satisfying reveal. Bee lives in New York, but returns home to London w...

Double-frame convention ended up being a little awkward at the end...but otherwise quite interesting and fairly well-written. Yay for ending the year on a good read!
