Had to drop this one. It held an interesting concept, but I just couldn't get past the mopey heroine and I kept reading a bit just to see if she'll become more badass, but alas, I couldn't continue.

I quit reading this about a quarter of the way in because the main character had a serious case of Annoying Teenage Girl Syndrome. I just wanted her to shut up.

Among my top two favourite books. So insightful, and deep. I just love the characters so much. A brilliant read.
