Skip McGrath was born in Oakmont , PA right at the end of WW-II. He dropped out of high school in the tenth grade to join the US Navy, serving two tours in the Vietnam theater. After the Navy Skip found himself a job as a technical rep for an international company where he traveled and lived abroad in a number of countries for the next ten years. Later he worked his way into the marketing department, eventually ending up as a VP of International Marketing for a fortune 100 company.In 1999, Skip decided to bag the corporate world, hanging up his three-piece suits for jeans and t-shirt when he and his wife, Karen, started an eBay business working out of their home. For the past 11 years Skip has run several successful businesses on eBay, Amazon and from four websites.Skip wrote his first book in 2000, The eBay PowerSellers Manual (now out of print). Since then he has written several books including the best-selling Titanium eBay and Three Weeks to eBay profits. In 2009 he collaborated with his daughter-in-law Lissa McGrath to write The Complete Idiots Guide to eBay.Skip still sells self-published books and training courses from his website under his name and still sells on eBay, Amazon and from his websites.

Very helpful and interesting. Some parts didn't apply to me, of course, since I'm not going to be a millionaire any time soon. I'll be happy just to keep the lights on and the water running.
