This was in an old list to read. Short stories about life among searching artists in 1980s NYC. Read about 3/4 of stories before realizing I didn't care to invest anymore time in the characters.
the writing is casual and chatty, the stories amusing and strange. sort of a trifle, yet such an enjoyable one.
