Highly predictable, but a cute premise all the same. The character development is lacking. However, the random history tangents are great!

Here's what I learned from listening to this book: I don't like Scott Brick's reading style. That is all.

"Scott Westerfeld does Bellweather."That makes it sound derivative. I know, and I'm sorry. It isn't, it really isn't. Adventure/mystery teenfic about trends, with a sort of twenty-minutes-into-the-future feel to it. Quick read, fun read; I liked it better than the Uglies books, and as much as Pe...

this book has a really unique and interesting concept. like any other scott westerfeld novel, it's a little bizarre, and it's not my favorite of his books, but i recommend it. :D

A tale of teenage cool-hunters. The first disappointment in the Westerfeld ouvre--it's not bad, but it's not as fresh or inventive as his other stuff. As always, however, the characters are well developed, interesting people.
