It was fun and entertaining but by far not as good as "Adrien English "or even the "Art of murder" series. There were many clues to guess who the culprit was but also a lot of red herrings. I found Holmes' character, though not his narration, somewhat unappealing , and this somehow lessened the enjo...

For some reason, I thought I would enjoy this this a bit more. I like it and it was ok, but, for me, the story was all over the place. The mystery was too much, too many possible culprits and you lose interest after a while. The "love story" wasn't as interesting, so incomplete. We know somethin...

Ugh, I hate that cover. I hate it so much that when I was writing and setting up this review I went back to see if there was an alternate cover to choose. I hate the idea that readers are going to make the same mistake I did by passing up this book only because the cover is so cheesy. Please don'...

Weird. I read this maybe a year and half ago. Didn't rate or review it and my memory of it was - meh. But a friend just mentioned how much she enjoyed it and I decided to re-read it and see why I hadn't liked it. I couldn't tell you because this time around, I found it a ton of fun. The only thing I...

Meh.

3.5 starsI like the voice here even though Christopher is kind of a jerk. He's an annoyingly lovable jerk. This is not the best mystery or the best of romances. It's just fun to read. And then it ended somewhat abruptly, and I needed to read more. So I am.

I've been re-listening to this for the past week on my long drives. Still as hilarious! ------------------------- Wow! I have no words!!! This was an AWESOME read!!!I already was a huge Josh Lanyon fan ( Adrien English series ; and many others)but this just drove the final nail in ...

I really enjoyed this. It was everything I like; a mystery, a romance, witty. I was really intrigued by Chris/Kit and J.X.'s history together. Why were they so hostile to each other? It was slowly explained throughout and I kind of melted reading about their three nights together all those years a...
