by Lisa Kleypas
I read this book many many years ago and loved it. It is a wonderfully written book, definitely one of Lisa Kleypas' classics. Bow Street Runner rescued the virgin sister of a famous courtesan. The attraction is steamy and the lead characters very likely. What I find a bit unsettling is I never real...
I feel like I got gyphed here because I thought I was getting a courtesan and a bow street runner story, but it turns out there was ALSO a mistaken identity plot and therefore I was really getting a country miss and a bow street runner. Sadly, that coupling just doesn't do it for me. I would have li...
I was so lucky when I found a box full of Lisa Kleypas books because I haven't stopped reading her work since. She is an outstanding author. Someone to watch over me completely won over my heart.
Nick had a lifetime of tragedy to overcome. Facing his internal demons, with the help of Lottie, he becomes the man he was always meant to be. An excellent story.

I thought Victoria's character just a terribl...
Grant Morgan had an axe to grind with Vivien Duvall and saw his opportunity when he helped rescue her from the docks of the Thames River. Someone had attempted to kill her but she awoke with a loss of memory. Grant decided it was best for her to stay with him for protection until the perpetrator cou...

Not as much of a grabber as her other ...
I think if this was the me who read this back when it was first published I would have scored the book higher. Quick, good read, but not as impressive in re-read.
I enjoyed this book. It was a sweet story. A little predictable, but still very good.
I loved Vivien and Grant!! Such a fabulous story!! One of my favorites from this author!!
