Honestly, I didn't like this one much more than "Something Borrowed", but due to the ending (which I had a hard time believing) I still gave it three stars because I think that the main character in this one (Darcy) was more honest about her crap than her ex-best friend Rachel. I did spend about 60 ...

Initial reaction: I read this book earlier this past year (2012) but didn't write a review on it because I wanted to read it a second time to write a thorough review. I still have the book and will probably go through it again just to clarify details Suffice to say it was worse than the first book a...

Love the breezy, smooth flow of Emily Giffin's books and this one is no different than her usual style. I especially like that the main character is not adorable and doesn't cause warm fuzzy feelings with her personality. She is self absorbed and has an unearned sense of entitlement. That being said...

Great sequel to Something Borrowed, told from Darcy's point of view and what happens AFTER. Entertaining and funny. Darcy is a mess of a person but she has her redeeming qualities in Something Blue. I really liked this easy read. It did have some predictability/unbelievability (No way can a person c...

The synopsis for this book reveals that Darcy is self-centered, self-obsessed, that her fiance leaves her for her best friend, that she's left pregnant by another man, and that she runs to a friend who lives on across the Atlantic and learns about friendship and motherhood. Going in with this fore...

So after finishing Something Borrowed I instantly started Something Blue. I found Darcy to be so irritating throughout Something Borrowed and I found the ending rather fitting and only mildly surprised. However throughout this book I did soften and start to like Darcy a bit more. This book is the pe...

I love that I was able to go from the first book where I didn't like Darcy to coming to like her in this book. I love this series and would recommend it!

I cannot believe how I have managed to put off reading the second installment of this book series (Darcy & Rachel). As I read through other versions of book reviews, I can honestly say that I share the similar angst against Darcy after reading the first book (probably because it was written in Rache...
