Today, I decided to look at a historical romance. To be honest, I don’t read a lot of historical romance because the male dominance of the time period really grates on my nerves. Call it the feminist or decent human being in me, but it really annoys me when the H is able to boss the h all the ti...
This was a book I wanted to love but didn't. I thought the concept was absolutely brilliant and loved the way the stories wove into one another but with the way the book was written (the first half of each story first followed by the second halves in reverse order) I felt too much time was spent awa...
I'm a little surprised how much I'm still enjoying all these Judith McNaught books. I'd really expected her over-bearing heros to annoy me now. Of course, Alex is another feisty, independent heroine. And I thought Jordan was fundamentally sympathetic, if a bit over the top. I'd love to read Tony's s...
Every once in a while, a 5-star book comes along that makes me want to go through all my other 5-star ratings and demote them, because they weren't as perfect, as beautiful, as heart-warming as this one. I loved the heroine & hero just as I do in all of J...
This book has the usual "tortured" hero... but it also has a "tortured" heroine. It's nice to read a romance where both the hero and the heroine have past issues they must overcome. Both have trust issues when it comes to love relationships, because of their parents. Who they've each become is part ...
I don't know what to say except that Judith McNaught is an amazing author. The book was great but this time the end wasn't good enough because Alexandra forgave Jordan too easy, just with saying I love you, the ending had to be longer with more things to it. However I really enjoyed this book.
My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book. This one's got 3 parts. After my 2nd reading of the book...I remember being annoyed by a few things when I first read this book, hence the 4 stars rating. But this reading is proving to be quite different and no matt...
