Maybe not different enough to redeem the whole series, but at l...
Loved the first third of it. Then it got a little slow, then it picked up again just in time for me to feel that the ending was really inadequate.
Sadly I don't have much to say about this one. If you haven't read the prior books you won't understand what I mean because each book is so different. This one wasn't quite what I had hoped for the finale of the series. It did a pretty good job of tying everything up but it wasn't very exciting. Wel...
Ties up a lot of lose ends, expands what the world Jonas and Gabe came from was like using Gabe's birth mother. Left me wanting to know more about what happens next, I wanted to see Einar back in Claire's life.
I only gave it 4 stars because Book II of this book spends too much time describing how hard she climbs the mountain. But few plots were introduced in this process and made this part kind of dull. But the overall story of mother Claire finding his son Gabe is very touching and heart-warming.
