Soumya Vilekar ,who also pens under the name of Soumya V was born in the spiritually enlightened country of India. Having a spiritual bent of mind since childhood, she developed an interest for writing only in her late teens. But the passion developed into a true affair once she started writing on her blogs and penning her own poetry books. She has published three poetry books and has been a contributor to several anthologies.Soumya mostly writes inspirational,romantic and spiritual poems which reflect positivity and optimism. Her soul finds divinity in every bit of nature which is seen in her writings.Having professionally worked in the field of powder metallurgy,she has a keen interest in it and holds a joint patent in the same field. The science of metal powders is something she feels attached to while not writing.A mother of two,she enjoys cooking and acts as a perfect host for everyone who's at her place.Currently working on the fourth poetry book named,"Suroor of the Soul" ,Soumya feels this book can connect to every individual who today fights the inner conflict of surviving in this world along with the urge to find the true happiness.The book is a poetic journey of a soul who travels on earth and amidst the chaos strives to seek the ultimate bliss. She has stayed at more than 14 cities across India in different states since her childhood and has been through different facades of life giving her varied experiences of those places and its populace.She now resides in Sharjah,UAE since the last two years.
