Alright. I have figured out what my issue with this series is. Okay well ONE issue. There are never really conclusions. I know this is only the second book but I don't feel like either book really ended. That would be just fine if the next book didn't have a different MC, but the next one just...
Read by Angela B: I really enjoyed book one (Storm) so am continuing with the series. Each book is based on one of four brothers who have paranormal powers based on the elements of earth, fire, air, and water. They are fast paced, full of great characters, a fresh storyline, conflict, lots of testos...
I'm giving Spark a 3.5 star rating, like I did with Storm, for pretty much the same reasons. I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, but I'm still enjoying the world that's been developed here. Maybe because it's a secret, I'm not sure.I was surprised, picking up this second book from the Elementals ser...
Ms Kemmerer has definitely done it again. I LOVED Storm, loved getting to know Chris, loved watching the relationship development between him and Becca. And then with this latest instalment, we get Gabriel. Firey by element and firey by nature. And, boy, what a duet of hotness he turned out to be. W...
So when I started reading Storm, the first book, a friend said to me that I might have some trouble with Gabriel. Me: Like naughty trouble?Friend: Like stabby stab trouble. And yes, Gabriel is an ass. But as we find out in this book, he's a deeply wounded ass. And doesn't that just make us all go "aw...
Spark was much better than the its predecessor. Perhaps, because Storm did all this world building, so we could finally get down to the main story without tripping over all the facts and details. I liked Layne and Gabriel a lot more than Chris and Becca. They clicked a little more and the story flow...
I liked the social side of things in SPARK better than book 1, however, the heroine's father comes across as a hair-trigger douchecanoe (I didn't object to his characterization so much as the way he seemed to blow hot and cold).
Warning: Will have comparisons to first novel! Click HERE to check out my review of Chris' story from Storm. In comparison to Storm, Spark did not have a confusing beginning. Since I read the first Elemental novel, I was familiar with the Elemental world, so if you are thinking of reading Spark, read...
Eventually, you'll be able to find this review on my blog:CLICK ME!WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL GABRIEL MERRICK TEST(Because he loves tests so much!)Question 1: Gabriel Merrick is:☐ Down to earth.☐ A breath of fresh air..☐ Hot tempered!Question 2:When you meet him he'll:☐ Reduce you to a puddle of emotio...
I have no time for reviews these days. Seriously, my reviews are getting shorter and shorter!I liked this book a lot better than the last one. Which is weird, right, because this one still has 4 stars. Things I liked:It's a quick read. Both of the main characters had much more mature back stories ...
