Very enjoyable thriller set in WWII Salonica, Greece. Slow start, but I was sucked in very quickly, and found the main character, Costas Yannis, very believable as an everyman drawn into a world of spies and intrigue and human smuggling. Interesting departure from his normal settings of Poland and France. Loving the historical background and it got better and better as it got nearer the German occupation.
