Excellent Peter David novel in the TNG series. Q gets involved in marital relations between some warring races, and with Deanna Troi's mother. Good characterization and a good bit of fun ... this is NOT a dark tale like "Encounter at Farpoint".
I don't usually read tie-in novels, but this had Q and Lwaxana Troi, two of my favorite Trek characters, so I had to pick it up. In short, it's a romp, and probably better recommended to die-hard fans.
