Eh. The dynamics are all different. It's an adorable story and Tori and Jerney aren't bad, but I still can't but help missing Nyle and Leon...I don't like Nyle and Leon as side characters *pout.
This story is my favorite of the series. I love Jerney and Tori, and though I hear that the next book will be the last, I hope Mell does a stand alone with Jerney and Tori fifty years later.

I loved this one, too! The whole series of Dragon Hoard stories rocks. The mini cliffie at the end of book two, Breaking the Shackles, brings us a new way for dragons to be born. Tori is an infant in dragon terms and it's easy to believe. Jerney is the perfect mate for Tori. The whole story is sweet...
