Dark, action-packed, and yes -- epic.
Oh my gosh, this book caught me by surprise. I found it a nice quick fast paced read. Not my particular genre. But, a big fan of how the author writes. Also, firefights identity was an interesting twist.

I don't know if there are words to describe it...My only issue is that there is a distinct difference between metaphors and similes that appears to have been disregarded throughout the entire book.
