Born in 1939, Stefan Wille spent the first 40 years of his life in Switzerland. Thereafter, Canada became his chosen country of residence. He obtained his university education both at the University of Zürich and the University of Toronto, culminating in a PhD degree in International Economics and Business. Apart from a short teaching assignment at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada, Dr. Wille spent most of his professional life in International banking and finance, in Canada and overseas. Later in his career he founded his own economic research company, publishing numerous industry studies. He was also a frequent speaker at conferences and conventions throughout the world. In 2012 Dr. Wille retired but he continues to research a variety of fields of particular interest to him. In his most recent publication “Prototype for a Fair and Efficient Democratic Government” he questions the efficiency and fairness of governmental procedures and provides alternative suggestions for a logical and streamlined Democracy. Dr. Wille is married and has two sons and 3 grandchildren. He lives with his wife, Claire, In Oakville, Ontario, Canada. They enjoy much of their free time working in their beautiful garden.
