A fantastic Miss Marple, which has definitely improved for me on this reread. The mystery is wonderfully twisted and I´m still in awe how Miss Marple has been able to solve the murder. Miss Marple is amazing! And I particularly enjoyed that the vicar and his wife Griselda made an appearance as well ...

Douglas: Little flashing warning light, Captain. Anti-icing the starboard wing. Declaring itself rabbit of negative euphoria. Martin: What? Douglas: Not a happy bunny. Superb. I stumbled upon this by accident when I was browsing my library's audiobooks. Stephanie Cole plays the owner of a strug...

I´ve got to admit, I admire Miss Marple´s deductive skills. I wouldn´t be able to solve a single one of her cases (even if there were enough clues to work with). Sitting in a corner, knitting and listening and watching closely what´s going on around her, that how she does it. Yet with this book, I w...

“I learned (what I suppose I really knew already) that one can never go back, that one should not ever try to go back—that the essence of life is going forward. It has been awhile since I have read a Miss Marple mystery. I enjoyed this one very much. I forget how humorous Agatha Christie is as she portrays a village's people and their gossip. Very tongue-in-cheek. I like the lightness of her prose. This is a fun read.

This is one of those Agatha Christie books I haven't read before. I liked it but not as much as other books with Miss Marple. I don't know if it was the narration (Miss Marple sounded too young) or the fact that I've been in a funky reading mood and couldn't seem to concentrate on this story. Regard...

Another enjoyable Miss Marple mystery. When the Bantry's find a dead body in their library, Miss Marple agrees to help find the murderer. I listened to the audio version read by Stephanie Cole.

This was a classic Miss Marple and with the exception of a few over-exhuberant moments, was very well read. A thoroughly enjoyable listen to take your mind off the traffic.
