Stephen A. North is a Florida native. He has a BA in English Literature from USF. He served in the Army Reserve as a military policeman from 12/84 to 12/90. His first 'real' job was making camera bellows when he was sixteen. From there he worked in the fast food industry, a book store, then three major retailers. He's also worked in a print shop. His favorite hobbies are listening to music and reading books. For the moment his writing is in the Science Fiction and Horror genres, but there are plans to branch out. Dead Tide and Dead Tide Rising and Dead Tide Surge are available in all formats.Beneath the Mask, a Science Fiction/Horror novel will be re-released January 6th, 2015 and will be available for pre-order soon! It has new content, and is the first book in a series.Drifter, the sequel to Beneath the Mask, and has doubled in size with new content! It is scheduled for re-release in 2016.Barren Earth, a Sci-Fi/Horror novella, co-written with Eric S. Brown is currently out of print.Dead Tide Fury, the 4th book in the Dead Tide series is one of several works in progress, along with a Fantasy novel tentatively titled Dead God's Behest, and a collection of his short stories. Under consideration is an expansion to novel size of his post-apocalyptic short story Like A Man!
