Stephen Barker is a writer and also a family doctor working in Warkworth, New Zealand. Originally from the United Kingdom, Stephen studied medicine at Sheffield University, where he channelled his desire to write into student articles. Medicine has led him into some unusual locations - such as time as a student intern in Borneo. A desire for change and adventure eventually brought Stephen to New Zealand, where he has lived for nearly twenty years.
