Stephen Szabo is an author,educator and academic administrator who has been writing and teaching about U.S. -European relations for over thirty years with a focus on Germany's foreign policies. He has written histories of the diplomacy of German unification and of the German split with the United States over the Iraq War. His most recent book looks at Germany's relationship with Russia which has emerged as the key to the larger western response to Putin's polcies in Ukraine and beyond,
