It would not be fair to rate this book. I stopped listening as soon as a small animal was purposely crushed by a jerk. Yes a small part of the story but one that bothered me enough for me to stop listening.

They were able to do this thanks to Bookbridgr, not because they've been stalking me. That I know of.] I've been ke...

The String Diaries opens with a bang, and the intensity never diminishes as the story progresses. Hannah’s fears and anxieties are palpable, even as readers do not yet understand the reasons for them. "It's difficult to defeat an enemy when you don't know his face." I was really excited to read this book. It looked like it had the right mix of mystery, suspense, and fantasy. After having finished this book I do feel that it is a good book but sadly it wasn't a great book. I'm going to try not ...

Considering this book is written in a way that spans over 100 years, covers written history from a number of different people and flits around between the 1800s and now quite quickly, you'd be forgiven for thinking it could be difficult to get into. It was, thankfully, quite easy to get drawn into a...
