Dr Stephen M. Whitehead is Visiting Professor in Gender Studies at Shih Hsin University, Taiwan. Previously Senior Lecturer in Education at Keele University, UK, Stephen is now Keele's Asia Programme Coordinator based in Chiang Mai, Thailand where he lives with his wife and step-daughter. Stephen has published extensively on gender, masculinities, identity, management and relationships and his books have been translated into 17 languages. Stephen's writings have generated enormous media interest. He has given hundreds of newspaper, journal, radio and television interviews and lectured at leading universities around the world.
