Stephen Morley lives and works in the South of England. He has published three novels in recent years, but has been writing and composing for over forty years.Stephen says: "Music and the British countryside have always been strong influences in my life and I brought them together in my novel Moses Trod. I know all the areas described in my books and much of my work is inspired by the places I see in long walks across the British countryside. Particularly, I love the many paths that traverse the wild hills and valleys of north eastern England, the location for my latest novel, Cliffington."Stephen is also an enthusiastic musician and songwriter, with a love of folk instruments, especially guitars. He comments: "I believe that music crosses boundaries and joins people wherever they live and whatever their beliefs."
