Stephen Tennant was born in Birmingham, West Midlands, in 1967 and is the first of four children. In his youth Stephen served as an armourer in the Royal Air Force during the Cold War and worked for Smith & Wesson in the United Kingdom. He is currently an itinerant geologist, having worked and lived in Wales, Ireland, Canada, Greece and Central Asia over the last twenty years.Stephen is the creator of the Nordvolk Saga heroic fantasy trilogy. He is now working on Steel in Shadow, a new heroic fantasy novel set in the same world.When he's not writing, Stephen loves non-work-related travel, walking, camping, cycling, and sailing in the great British outdoors.
