Steve Jamison is America's foremost author and authority on the life and leadership of UCLA Coach John Wooden who is often cited as the greatest coach of the 20th century (ten March Madness national championships). Together they collaborated on nine popular publications including, WOODEN: A Lifetime of Observations and Reflections, which is published worldwide. Mr. Jamison produced the award-winning PBS special JOHN WOODEN: Values, Victory, and Peace of Mind and is a consultant to the UCLA/Anderson John Wooden Global Leadership Program.Mr. Jamison has also collaborated with other coaching icons including Bill Walsh, three time Super Bowl coach of the San Francisco 49ers (THE SCORE TAKES CARE OF ITSELF: My Lessons in Leadership ), and tennis coaching legend Brad Gilbert with whom he wrote WINNING UGLY: Mental Warfare in Tennis, the most popular tennis instruction book of the past quarter century.In addition to his publishing and producing career, Mr. Jamison is a popular speaker as well as Executive Producer of The John Wooden Leadership Course.

You'd think all the basetball analogies would be boring, but they're not. This book really strikes a chord and provides a lot of down to earth wisdom about leadership and what it means to lead people.
