Steve Powers is from Texas; he has never worn a cowboy hat or pair of cowboy boots in his life. Despite this handicap, he has been a successful freelance writer for many magazines and newspapers. He has also worked in Public Relations, completing press releases and press kits for newly released books. He has four kids, two dogs and one wife. The wife is not a writer. The kids don't write. And sadly, the dogs don't write, either, but the whole family enthusiastically supports Steve in his writing efforts.
