Steve Statham is a Texas-based writer who splits his time between conjuring up science-fiction and fantasy novels, and reporting on the oil-drenched automotive industry. He is the author of the Connor Rix series of SF thriller novels, which includes Rules of Force and Levers of Power. Over on the non-fiction side, Steve has had 12 automotive history books published, including Camaro Musclecar Color History, and Maximum Muscle: Factory Special Musclecars. Steve served for many years as editor of Musclecar Enthusiast magazine, and has been a regular contributor to Road & Track's annual Buyers Guides since 2001. Steve has been published in Motor Trend's Truck Trend, Mustang Monthly, Corvette Magazine, Muscle Car Review, Sport Compact Car, Mopar Muscle, Heartland USA, Automotivetraveler.com and many others.
