Steven Bannister is the best-selling author of the acclaimed Black Mystery Series featuring DCI Allie St Clair. Steve's writing influences include James Lee Burke, Nelson De Mille, Steven King, Ray Bradbury and John Banville, among others.Steve has worked in international communications and marketing in L.A., Boston, Houston and London. Apart from writing horror/thrillers, Steve plays blues guitar and kayaks pristine waterways when time and tide permits. He is married with two children and lives 'down under down under' in Hobart, Tasmania.
