Steven Simpson is chair of the Department of Recreation Management and Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. In the early 1990's, Steve was a Fulbright scholar who taught at National Taiwan University. For the 2007-2008 academic year, he taught at the Graduate Institute of Environmental Education at National Taiwan Normal University. He is past editor of the Journal of Experiential Education. He is the author or co-author of four books, The Leader Who is Hardly Known, The Processing Pinnacle, The Chiji Guidebook, and Rediscovering Dewey.
