I was born in El Paso Texas and now live in Washington DC. In between, I lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany; La Rochelle, France; San Francisco and New York City. After studying Art for several years at the university I switched to Music and received a BA in piano. After my BA I studied Musical Composition and received an MBA in Finance. Currently I work at the Smithsonian Institution. I have been writing poetry off and on since 4th grade
