Steven W. Booth is an author, book designer, publisher, and entrepreneur. He has earned a BA in economics and business from UC Santa Cruz, an MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Judaism in Los Angeles (now American Jewish University), and a MA in Teaching from National University. He has been a business owner since January 2010, a publisher since August 2011, and a published author since October 2011. Steven currently owns and operates Genius Book Publishing where he currently publishes mostly horror and dark fiction, but has plans to begin publishing other fiction genres as well as non-fiction. His other business, Genius Book Services, provides self-publishing authors and other publishers with editing, cover art, print layout and ebook design services. Steven is also the author of six novels. The fifth, The Hungry 5: All Hell Breaks Loose, was released in February 2014. The sixth, All The Devils, a thriller, was released in April 2014. He is currently working on a young adult thriller entitled Chasing Shoeless Joe, which is scheduled for release sometime in late 2014 or early 2015. Like many authors, Steven has had a number of jobs including, but not limited to, teacher, pizza chef, small business consultant, alarm technician, technical support representative, fundraiser, facilities manager for a synagogue, web designer, video producer, and taxi driver. Steven has been married since March 2000 to a wonderful and brilliant woman, Leya. She is a math genius, and was the inspiration for the name of their companies. Steven and Leya live in Encino, CA, and are proud humans owned by a couple of cats.
