A writer and artist, Stirling Davenport's first book, "Amphibious Dreamers," is a collection of multi-genre short stories, many of which were published in print anthologies and on-line magazines.Her novel published by Jigsaw Press, "The Nightwing's Quest," is about a matriarchy of dark elves who live underground. Her second novel, "The Silver Reindeer," was conceived while Stirling was walking in Boston, and tells the story of a young priestess who becomes an outlaw when she hears voices.Stirling painted both the covers of her fantasy novels, one in watercolor and the other in oils. Stirling has founded a new publishing company called "Noth Press" which she hopes will give her the chance to showcase other writers.She says, "I don't write for fame or riches. I write because something inside is dying to come out." Stirling is currently working on her next novel.
