I was hoping for stories that centered more around Halloween. The stories were paranormal romance that happened to be taking place in October.
Only read Lynsay Sands story, a fun historical romance about servant Brinna who takes the place of a similar looking lady who doesn't want forced engagement to Lord Thurleah. Pleasant read with mild humor but nothing outstanding.
I must say that this book pleasantly surprised me. Recently I had been reading several books of this genre, romance genre I mean, but I rarely find true gems here unfortunately, be it slash or straight romance. It is really usually to read once to relax from more serious reading and forget about it....
