'Somebody!' I half-sob and then, more quietly, 'Please.' The words seem absorbed by the afternoon heat, lost amongst the trees. In their aftermath, the silence descends again. I know then that I'm not going anywhere...Sean is on the run. In der baufälligen Scheune liegt der junge Engländer Sean mit einem zerfetzten Fuß. Auf der Flucht vor der...
I very much enjoyed my first book written by Simon Beckett. From the very first page I was gripped and this lasted all the way through the novel. I had no idea what the outcome would be, either from events in London or in France. It was very hard to put down, in fact I read it in less than two days...
Review coming in January, but it is awesome!
