This is one of very few long running series that I still keep up with. Visiting Mercy's world is a comfort. This wasn't my favorite offering, but it was still fun. The focus in this book is on witches, black magic, and even some zombies. All in all it was a fun romp but nothing terribly memorable.

TITLE: Storm Cursed SERIES: Mercy Thompson #11 AUTHOR: Patricia Briggs _________________________ REVIEW: An entertaining, fast-paced addition to the series involving witches and an interesting new werewolf.
This book is almost all Mercy. She is overwhelmed with witch troubles, zombie issues, protection troubles, oh just about anything that can go wrong troubles. Adam is barely there, but we get time with Zee, Stephen, Wulf, and some other very cool characters. I enjoyed the time with these characters a...
Book source ~ Library Mercy Thompson is a mechanic, but she’s also a whole lot more. As a coyote shifter she has some problems fitting in with the Columbia Basin werewolf pack. Normally, she wouldn’t give a fig about the pack, but ever since she married their Alpha, Adam Hauptman, she kinda has to...
I came late to the Mercy Thompson series. I read the first book, "Moon Called"in January 2017, nearly eleven years after it was published and was hooked immediately. This was Urban Fantasy as I'd always hoped it would be. I've been playing catch up ever since and it's been tremendous fun. "Storm C...
Adam grinned at me, "That which doesn't destroy us . . ." "Leaves us scratching our heads and saying, 'What's next?'" I said. There's always plenty of things that can answer that "What's next?" question in the land of Mercy Thompson -- but Storm Cursed seems to have extra nexts in it. Briggs is s...
My rating would indicate I wasn't all that thrilled with this book, but I was. I thought it was a very solid entry in the series – it holds its own – though it isn't the best. I had, overall, three disconnects with the book that stick in my mind after 24 hours. From least important to most they ...
I love Lorelei King as a narrator, the story left a little to be desired. It is a rehash of the past stories, nothing really new. I rated this four stars because I enjoy the writing, but kept saying throughout, “really?” Same ol, same ol.
So. I initially was just going to give this three stars and move along. However, after thinking it through this morning, this book honestly doesn't deserve 3 stars (okay). This book's pacing was off, there was about zero character development, too much repetition, and I think at one point I even sai...
