An agreeable English Police Procedural set in Yorkshire. The main character, DI Charlie Priest, is quite engaging with a gentle sense of humor and the plot churned along at a nice pace.
Charlie Priest is one of my favourite fictional detectives. Pawson has a strong voice, a neat mystery and a wry touch I appreciate.
DI Charlie Priest and his team are unlike many in fiction in that they all seem to get along and put the job first.
