This one is not for me... DNF at 40%I can actually say I was pretty bored... If the BDSM relationship is the only thing between a couple it gets pretty dull after a while. I want me some more romance to go with the kink.
This was a really character driven story. I really liked both Tobias and Noah’s characters. But what I really liked was this was about the psychological aspects of BDSM as opposed to sex. Don’t get me wrong, there was sex in this book but I loved the way that these characters looked into what was...
This was an ok read for me. I wasn't feeling any chemistry between Noah and Tobias in this one, and even though Noah liked Phan when they met for dinner and talked, I don't trust him at all. He can give the I love him, but I'm not IN love with him line all he wants, I still think he's trying to ge...
The only reason I'm putting this here is because I kind of lost interest half way through. I'll come back to it and finish it at a later date, so I'm not giving it a star rating yet because I was really enjoying it, I apparently just have a short attention span.
This book is a great start to the series. I hope the series continues this way. The characters are unexpected, at least to what I was expecting! Tobias and Noah work wonderfully well together A great book in this genre.
Interesting enough but pretentious as all get-out. The phrase "true submission" always makes me roll my eyes; turns out that's true in fiction as well as non.
3.5 stars I’d call this BDSM 101 -- that’s the plot in a nutshell -- how a really good D/s partnership can benefit and enhance the lives of two people who are so inclined. Noah needs and has been searching for a firm, trustworthy hand and Tobias is a dom-artiste with a need to control. Both are lik...
Overall, I imagine that this book must accurately reflect the D/s relationship, but not a love HEA ending. Granted this is book 1 of many, so perhaps we will get that in later books. What I did find is that the D/s parts were really hot, but I became a little uncomfortable with all of the regulations...
Hmm...I pretty much read all of the book in quick succession, so I'm going to hold off on the more hefty comments until I reread the books.I will say, though, that I first thought Phan was, I dunno, Filipino or Indonesian or something, so it was weird for me trying to wrap my mind around Phan/Phanto...
