Rating: 5 out of 5 stars! Having already loved Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series, I decided to check out her other books as well. Her Georgina Kincaid Series has everything I love in a book: a snarky heroine love of books/reading paranormal romance hot, steamy scenes and a loveable introvert ...
I have always been a fan of this author's young adult books so I decided to try one of her adult books. It wasn't as good as I hoped. It was an alright read. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It was somewhat interesting with the different characters. There weren't too many intimate scenes which wa...
SPOILERS.SPOILERS.SPOILERS.SPOILERS.SPOILERS.SPOILERS. AND ALSO SOME GUESSES THAT MIGHT TURN INTO SPOILERS IF I'M RIGHT ABOUT THE DIRECTION OF THE STORY. 29/11 - Really loving this. There have been some laugh-out-loud moments (especially when Georgina was telling the 'random coffee customer/Seth Mor...
This will be a quickie review for both books. I read the Vampire Academy series and was actually pleasantly surprised. After my not great week last week, I was looking for something light to get my mind off things. These were books I could read in a night. They're fun, sexy, and easy to lose m...
The way to tell if a series is any good, is to get to the end of the first part and ask yourself "Will I be reading the follow on parts?". 2009-Fun, Smart, invigorating story with and interesting twist. A succubus that does not want to take from good men. An aloof writer and a dark sexy stranger strugle for the protaginist's attention. An Angel and a demon friends in thie fight to survive. This is an unexpected fun tale and I can't wai...
4 stars Georgina Kincaid series Reading OrderThis book was not even on my radar until recently thanks to Nereyda at Mostly YA Book Obsessed. OH MY GOSH!! I am HOOKED!! I am a HUGE Richelle Mead fangirl. I devoured her Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series like they were book candy. I can't get e...
Surprisingly good. The title and the cover conspire to make this appear as a dismissable read and that's a shame. Strong writing, likable good AND bad guys on top of a nice little mystery make this a very satisfying read and opening into a series that I'm definitely going to keep reading.
Richelle Mead has never let me down. Not with the stellar VA series, not with Gameboard of the Gods. So I couldn't wait to start this series. Did it pack that same giddy punch as VA? No. I found the world building a bit clunky and the big reveal was evident from the beginning. And yet, it was a soli...
