I came into Such a Rush weary. I've read Echols's Dirty Little Secret and I wasn't exactly a big fan of it. But I knew she was considered a really great contemporary writer, so I decided to give her another shot. And ultimately, I'm really glad I did.I have to admit, Echols has the best and most int...
What a waste of time. I should have abandoned this one. I seriously think this is not the same writer of The Boys Next Door & Going Too Far. I loved those books! This book was just horrible. Here's the main things I hated: Molly She's a b*tch. One of her lines "I know you're not a practicing whore" ...
This review is also on Living for the BooksFlying is something that's always been something close to my heart. There's really nothing like flying a plane and being able to look at the ground below you.It was very easy for me to connect with Leah but it might be more difficult for people that don't s...
Pros:* fun read* fluffy, teen romanceCons:* situations/scenes escalate and end in 3 pages* characters switch emotional gears in secondsHot twins, a girl from the wrong side of the tracks with gritty determination and a spring break setting makes for a quick read.
(3.5 stars)Another contemporary YA read! I’m going to have to stop saying that I don’t really read contemporary YA! Here is the Goodreads summary:Heaven Beach, South Carolina, is anything but, if you live at the low-rent end of town. All her life, Leah Jones has been the grown-up in her family, whil...

This is the first time I've read a book about flying/pilots and it was interesting to learn some of the thin...
...eh.This was my first impression of Jennifer Echols. I don't think this book lived up to the hype I have heard about the author. I did like this book, I just didn't LOVE it. Are her other books better? I don't know. I think I might try another one of her books, but I'm not rushing to it.
This review also appears on my blog At the End of the Story.Leah Jones has had a crappy life. Sort of like Karl Shoemaker's in [b:Tales of the Madman Underground|4906766|Tales of the Madman Underground|John Barnes|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347423984s/4906766.jpg|4972289].
