Another awesome book in the series, definitely recommend although would not suggest reading this as the first book.
Top drawer thriller. This book starts with a bang and never lets up. I love the character of Lucas Davenport and this tale of revenge and retribution is my favorite in the series so far.

A female bank robber is killed and her insane family declare war of the family of the cops they hold responsible. We learn more about the other characters and Lucas and his surgeon lover is so not working with him. She wants her independence.
