Sue Moorhouse is an Eng. Lit. grad. and former teacher of dyslexic students. Her previously published novels include three children's fantasies (published by Nelson for use in schools), many short stories in magazines and newspapers, a sci-fi short story published by Victor Gollancz Sunday Times SF Competition Stories book. Long, long ago, but definitely in this galaxy ...Recently she had a story 'Journey's End' published in the book 'Final Chapters', an anthology about death (not too grim!) with a forward by Jonathan Dimbleby. The fairy stories for older readers, 'Broomsticks, Walking Sticks and Zimmer Frames' were written for fun, as a reaction to some years as a carer. The stories may amuse anyone who has been in that situation, or make a gift for parents or grandparents or even teens. The book proved popular on the Authonomy writers' site, winning a medal. Some of the humor is quite dark, but please don't let the the fingernails worry you at all. Come in. Would you like an apple? All royalties from this book go to Alzheimer's Society.
