Sue Owen is the author of four books of poetry: Nursery Rhymes for the Dead (Ithaca House, 1980); The Book of Winter (Ohio State University Press, 1988), winner of the Ohio State University Press / The Journal Award; My Doomsday Sampler (Louisiana State University Press, 1999); and The Devil's Cookbook (Louisiana State University Press, 2007). She taught as Poet-in-Residence at Louisiana State University and received the Professional Artist of the Year Award from the Louisiana State Arts Council. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
