Absolutely loved this! Witty, funny, hit all my happy buttons relating to my love of food, and definitely broke a LONG streak of less than satisfying reads.

A light romance that starts slowly, and doesn't really pick up until the halfway mark. Much of the first half is dialogue heavy, with Leilani amd Baxter arguing about doing his TV show at her shop. The ensuing romance then landslides with very little conflict. Uneven, but there is something to enjo...

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a guilty pleasure fan of girly contemporary romances. I swear by anything Sophie Kinsella/Madeline Wickham-related, and Jane Green, Jennifer Weiner, and Helen Fielding all have a fan in me. When offered the chance to read and review the first two books in the new ...
