Three teenagers… two who are fixable, and one who is not. Two boys—one who has never known caring, but feels its loss; one who has had it, lost it, and wonders if it’s worth the pain—and a girl who knows both caring and loss and wants to show them both that it’s worth everything.Casper is a larger t...

The only thing that's keeping me from giving this book full five stars is the set-up's similarity to Hushed (which I loved): Two boys and one girl. All broken in one way or another trying to figure out how to move on from one day to the next. I liked it, but I can't quite explain why.

So I accidentally read this at the same time as Julio. Review comes with trigger warnings for suicide, suicidal ideation and the occasional glancing reference to sexual abuse. It also contains spoilers which are likely to comprise a significant chunk of my musings, so while I won’t be able to stick...

Suicide Watch is a story about 3 young people whose life is broken for different reasons. It’s a tough reading but the depression and suicide topic are dealt in a respectful way. Some broken things are fixable. Some are not.So sad. So true.

I Could Not Sleep Until I Wrote ThisAbout fifteen minutes ago I wrote a status update where I said that I wanted to sleep on my feelings for this book before I reviewed it. The problem is that it's so heavy on my mind that I can't sleep. This book is so sad, poignant, and beautiful that it's indescri...

Is it possible to feel depressed and uplifted at the same time? I love books that make me feel and Suicide Watch hit me in the feels - hard. I was very impressed by Kelley York's debut novel Hushed but I loved Suicide Watch even more if that is possible. The characters broke my heart into teeny, tin...
