A shame, but this is one of the most disappointing John Grisham books I've read. I was a huge fan of his first six books but found with the last three that the plots have gone off the boil a bit. I'm a third of the way through and, sorry to say, there's too many books and too little time to continue...

i was looking forward to a quick, light read after some heavier reads/topics. i wasn't impressed with the writing and never really got into the story at all.
