I just love it when I find a book I absolutely adore! This is one of the best books I’ve read this year. I knew when I read the synopsis I would enjoy it, but I didn’t expect it find a place in my heart so easily. I love to own copies of books I like. I borrowed this one from the library, and as soo...
Such a beautiful book. So poignant and heartbreaking at times. The tv film frankly sucked, I'm not gonna lie. It completely went off the rocker when it came to the plot. I mean they kept the main line of Jane falling in love with her old imaginary friend, but other than that everything else was SO m...
This book is pure fantasy, no two ways about it! Sappy, romantic, completely unrealistic fantasy. But I enjoyed it!! If you don't like Peter Pan or The Time Traveller's Wife or Star Trek, because they aren't plausible, then don't waste your time on this book. However, if you have a few hours to ...
It's like reading Cecelia Ahern's If You Could See Me Now all over again, only this time around, the story is accompanied by some lovely twists I didn't get to enjoy in Ahern's book. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Jane and Michael. It is told from both Jane and Michael's point of views, nothing w...
Very well written but much too predictable for me. I really liked the idea and wanted to get carried away by the tale but found this impossible when I could pretty much guess the whole plot. But I'd still recommend this for a quick light read.
This was a weird ass book and not a good intro to James Patterson. The book starts off with a young Jane and her imaginary friend Michael. Jane is a lonely girl without much parental supervision. Her mom Vivienne is a successful Broadway producer living a fabulous life, while her dad is barely prese...
I was very intrigued by the synopsis. so I started it. short chapters. Easy reading flow. somewhat typical but still enjoyable. I was satisfied with the ending.
THIS BOOK IS JUST AMAZING OK!! Made me cry! Just like what the movie adaptation did! The story is amazing. Childhood friends. Imaginary friends. Love story. Family. It had the mix of all those! Must-read! (and must-watch! the film is great!)
This was okay. I've recently read If You Could See Me Now which was the same premise; imaginary friend turned lover. The ick factor was definitely there for me. This guy was her imaginary friend as a child. Now they meet when she is in her thirties and instantly feel a sexual attraction? Ew. S...
