♥♥♥ 4 HOT HIGHLANDER STARS ♥♥♥This was my first Pamela Clare book and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to read more from this series. It all begins with the exiled Highlander Iain MacKinnon, being trapped into joining the British Army--along with his brothers-- where he will lead a group of men at w...

I tried reading this while in the midst of a slump. It started out promising but lost me about 2/3's of the way in when I started rolling my eyes and forcing myself to turn the pages. Guess I just wasn't in the mood for bonny highlanders and virginal lassies making love while rape and murder awaits...

★★★★★ Five full stars and a WOW! I loved this book, but then, as a historical romance reader, it is definitely my cuppa tea. I was a bit worried, as every one of my GR friends loves her contemporary love stories; could she make the transition? With a resounding yes, I must say she did! And then ...

The story I started was mostly about people being beaten, shot, flogged etc. so I reread the reviews and wondered if I was reading the same book. Scotswoman Annie, branded by evil uncle and sold to colonies, crosses paths with Scotsman Ian who was forced to fight for British or hang for murder. I qu...
