Susan spent her childhood in Devon and at school in Bath. She worked as a copywriter in London before leaving to live in Greece where she began writing fiction. She has had seven novels published in hardback and paperback in UK and USA. Other work includes travel writing, television drama, and wildlife and children's books illustrated by her husband Peter. She worked for some years as a counsellor/psychotherapist but has recently returned to fiction-writing. To provide a digital resource for other writers of literary fiction, as well as non-fiction, she created an ebook publishing website, WritersReadersDirect.com. This is now part of a larger publishing enterprise, Magus Digital. Susan is retaining links with the business as an author's mentor, while concentrating on her own writing.
