SUSAN BERSTON is second-generation business professor at City College of San Francisco, where her father, now 84, taught for close to six decades. She received her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Her professional career was spent as a sales representative with printer R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, and prior to that, she worked in corporate banking. She serves on the council of the Youth Conservatory at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, and actively supports the plight of finding forever homes for senior dogs through Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco. Berston is a hyper-engaged student mentor and faculty advisor for numerous on-campus business honors clubs, including Alpha Beta Gamma and Kiva Microfinance club.
